Document Requirements for Overseas Employment

The required documents for overseas employment vary from country to country. They also depend on whether the manpower-importing country has a diplomatic mission in Nepal. Before finalizing any overseas recruitment deal, we require two main types of documents. To ensure a smooth process and prevent unnecessary complications for workers, we strictly adhere to government regulations

Essential Documents

1. Demand Letter

A formal letter from the employer to the service provider detailing:

    • Number of workers required
    • Job categories
    • Monthly basic salary
    • Contract duration
    • Working hours
    • Additional terms and conditions, including food, accommodation, medical facilities, insurance, airfare, and service charges

2. Power of Attorney

A letter issued by the employer authorizing the service provider to act on their behalf for recruiting workers and handling all necessary formalities with the respective embassy and government agencies in Nepal.

3. Guarantee Letter

This letter, addressed to the Consulate General of the respective embassy, confirms the appointment of The River Overseas Pvt. Ltd. as the employer’s authorized recruiting agency for visa processing and other embassy-related formalities.

4. Employment Contract

A legally binding agreement between the employer and the employee that clearly outlines all terms and conditions of employment.

5. Agency Agreement

A contract between the employer (First Party) and the recruiting agency (Second Party), specifying all terms and conditions for hiring human resources from Nepal.
